The systematic review of peer-reviewed intervention was published from 2018 to 2023. The researchers recommended including community members in intervention design, healthcare systems, and policies. Community-based organizations led by Black women may be even more impactful.

But then once it was open, started seeing a lot of other populations: not just our own hospital population, but a lot more just community members calling with concerns about driving. Weren’t those the days? Eric: Yeah.

Eloise 10:29 Yeah, I think what we saw in California was, prior to legalization, there was curiosity, but also a lot of their healthcare professionals didn’t know enough about it, so they didn’t discuss it with them. For instance, Friday night, Saturday night parties are of community wide.

Prognosis communication and the subtle ways we may communicate it without intention. Community-based palliative care networks . It’s easier to concentrate on cure, diagnosis, cure. And I believe it needs the community. And the community came in. Social pain and loneliness. So, shackled by definitions.

Michele: Yeah, so in May of 2018, there was an article by Suleika Jaouad in the New York Times Magazine, and they spent about two weeks in our hospice with us learning about the work that’s done. Michele: The article was 2018, but I think Bonnie read the article more recently. It’s by choice, just like in the community.
