I wrote this in 2016, when my visits were shorter because that EMR was simpler. Not only have we shortened medical appointments to 15 minutes. Double booking is sometimes used as a strategy to manage no-shows. But the math is the same, no matter how long your normal appointments are. We also sometimes double book them.
