Since 2013, ABIM Specialty Boards have been required to include at least one physician member primarily engaged in community practice, defined broadly in applications as “clinical practice in a non-university, community setting.”

I was very close with my grandparents growing up, and then I actually was exposed to geriatrics as a pre-med student at Yale New Haven Hospital as one of the volunteers and Dr. I explored other things, but I felt like I consistently gravitated toward the care of older adults.
