A struggle for enough staffing When the federal government launched the readmission penalty program in 2013, staff with OSF HealthCare knew their readmission rates fueled by bouncebacks from SNFs were running between 18% and 25%. It also has a 30-day readmission rate that’s dramatically below what it used to be.

And to be very fair, there was a study in 2013 in family practice, this would be important, I think for those who treat older patients. And their death rate was so high during Omicron because they had distrust to the vaccine and distrust to the government. They had 30% vaccination rate among their elderly when Omicron hit.
