In 2013, only 56 percent of Americans owned a smartphone, which climbed to around 90% by now. It’s complete in its descriptions and treatments which can also be used by medical professionals of all types. (*There are widely varying figures, ranging from 66% to 90% depending on the source of information.)

This is like, back in 2013, and I joined the faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. So when I joined Sinai In 2013, I was in a different form at that time. And so I think that my growth and discovery of celebrating who I am as a woman of trans experience didn’t really happen until when I came to New York City.

So, I mean, one thing that I take from Winston’s great paper, which I consulted in writing mine and cited, although maybe not as frequently as I should have, is this idea that a lot of these terms, and I think this is a philosophical perspective that Winston and I are both sympathetic to.
