Since 2012, I’ve spoken to thousands of suicidal doctors—even published a book of physician suicide letters. In medicine, combating illness requires primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Secondary prevention reduces impact of established illness (antidepressants). Doctors have the highest suicide rate of any profession.
