Context In November 2023, the American Heart Association (AHA) released PREVENT, a new set of risk equations to calculate an individual's risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Design and analysis: The study employed a comprehensive cohort design to compare individuals with T2D who were Ethiopian-born to their Israeli-born counterparts.
