Check out some of their recent work, including: Dr. Holt-Lunstad’s and Dr. Perissinotto’s powerful perspective piece in the New England Journal of Medicine which provides a clinical framework for addressing loneliness and social isolation. I think I feel more comfortable as a provider in trying to support people in their isolation.

That trajectory was in increase from 2000 to say, 2010. I do think the growth of for-profit hospice, so around 2000 to 2010, was beneficial in terms of access. I think that there are some really great for-profit hospices out there that are actually able to provide more services and more open access for patients.
