The practice steadily grew through the 80’s and 90’s, and Dr. Eggebrecht joined in 1993, at a time when family doctors still rounded in the hospital and delivered babies. In 2007, Dr. Mancini joined the practice, followed by Dr. Meadows in 2012, and Dr. Gendernalik in 2015.

I was very close with my grandparents growing up, and then I actually was exposed to geriatrics as a pre-med student at Yale New Haven Hospital as one of the volunteers and Dr. Sharon Inouye’s initial help trial and had a fabulous role model Dr. Verano, who I wanted to be. Ryan: Actually, a very similar story as to Jerry.

I’ve known you since we did PSAP together, I think, back in 2007 ish. We were often the only ones left in the hospital. And I think everything that we’re talking about in this time and that we will talk about probably has to start with this idea of paying attention. And we didn’t even ask how my son was doing.
