I joined SCPMG straight from residency in 2006. The patient reached out to me and asked what I thought or recommended because I had built that relationship with that patient, I had built that trust. When you put in that referral, how do we make sure that that patient walks out with the specialty appointment versus phone tag.

Started as a direct case manager, worked in a variety of different places including the state legislature and I’ve been with the state office now since 2006. And that referral can be done in real time, a soft handoff. I knew them, I developed a relationship with them. Eric: And Susan? I think most states have them.
