It’s just a trash can label—not really even a diagnosis, a made-up term that is used as psychological warfare on physicians to control us. I was suicidal myself as a physician and I survived that in 2004. It’s dangerous and unsustainable; emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially for the patients—and for us.
