Some healthcare providers may recommend an MRI or ultrasound. In 2024, I had another scare. My annual mammogram picked up calcifications again. After speaking with the radiologist, she said, best case scenario, it’s nothing, and worst case scenario, it is DCIS. She again recommended an MRI with contrast and another breast biopsy.
