Primary care follow-up after Emergency Department discharge for patients with chest pain in Ontario: a scoping review [Cardiovascular disease]

According to clinical guidelines, patients discharged with chest pain should follow-up with a medical doctor (MD) within 72 hours. Future research should update these findings within Ontario’s current healthcare context. Most patients are safely discharged after ED work-up rules out life-threatening causes.
