I have felt as I’ve come through this field over the last, I guess 2003 is when I realized I wanted to be a palliative care doctor. I loved the relationship that we developed and the fun we had. Was first recognized as a medical specialty in the UK in 1987, I think it was, you know, and what that meant to be a medical specialty.
