I have felt as I’ve come through this field over the last, I guess 2003 is when I realized I wanted to be a palliative care doctor. Was first recognized as a medical specialty in the UK in 1987, I think it was, you know, and what that meant to be a medical specialty. Well, I guess just over 20 years ago.
