In 2002, 1% of adults were taking gabapentinoids (gabapentin and or pregabalin). It’s not a controlled substance medication. Eric: So I heard gabapentin is the 10th most commonly prescribed medication in the US. And one of these medications that has been hoped to be a huge change to decrease opioid use is gabapentin.
