Raj: It was indeed very, very gradual, and the seeds were sown when I was a medical student. But when I retired from government service, I left Kalakkad in 2002. It’s easier to concentrate on cure, diagnosis, cure. And I’ll share that my own relationship with my father, who was a doctor, was a complicated one.
