Raj: It was indeed very, very gradual, and the seeds were sown when I was a medical student. But when I retired from government service, I left Kalakkad in 2002. It’s easier to concentrate on cure, diagnosis, cure. Was it that thunderclap moment? So, we wanted to have some activity spread around the country.
