Raj: It was indeed very, very gradual, and the seeds were sown when I was a medical student. But when I retired from government service, I left Kalakkad in 2002. We included people with bronchial asthma and many people with paralysis, paraplegia. Was it that thunderclap moment? Does it have to be only at the end of life?
